Our club came together on the 1st of September with Shaun Dinnall as Toastmaster, guiding us through an evening built on the theme of Growth Mindset.
We were honoured to welcome our Area President, Sarah Ndebele, as a special guest. Shaun opened with an inspiring story about Michael Jordan — once cut from his high school varsity team at 5’11”, he used that setback to fuel his determination. After a summer of growth, hard work, and relentless practice, he returned stronger, eventually becoming one of basketball’s greatest legends. A true example of growth mindset in action.

Table Topics took us on a whirlwind journey — from Romania to Japan, through the USA, and even into the world of AI — before we paused to celebrate our evaluators and speakers.
